The Metropolitan Museum of Art just opened an exhibition called "Valentin De Boulogne Beyond Caravaggio". The greatest French follower of Caravaggio (1571–1610), Valentin de Boulogne (1591–1632) was well known during 17th-century Europe and sometimes referred to as Le Valentin, the French painter in the tenebrist style. - Link
